How To Hack Your Room For Better Workplace Productivity (Infographic)

My buddies at Quill posted a great infographic explaining how to hack a break room to improve workplace productivity.

Taking specific pre-arranged 20-30min breaks during your work time can be very efficient for your daily productivity. This can turn out to be a very successful habit, especially when combined with a break room that makes your employees, want to go there and relax. Procrastination is maybe the most dangerous habit of all inside an office environment and doing everything possible to eliminate it can certainly lead to improved productivity.

This is a great infographic. Check it out below. Great stuff Quill!

Great infographic on the importance of taking a break during the work! I was struggling with this before. I would take a break, but it didn’t really make any effect…until I realised that while taking a break from my work I was continuously thinking about…my work. The key here is to not to think about the work! But here comes the problem…trying not to think about the work is… thinking about the work. That’s what in Zen they call Double Bind. But that is another subject for another time.
    Thanks for the post Vasilis!

You are right on the spot Vahagn! Exactly as you mentioned!

To take a correct break one need’s to totally disconnect from work for about 20 minutes straight and then get back to it again.

Thank you for your comment :)

I agree with your post Vasilis, having a break is essential for effectiveness at work. For every 2 hours of work I have a 10 minutes break. Thanks for sharing.

Go on to 20 minutes Pedro and you will see a huge difference.

Another tip is to take 1 day off (totally off) per week…and several days per month.
