Reading this list of top self-improvement books, helped me understand that we live our lives having many limited beliefs, cause we were “programmed” to have them by TV, our family, society, culture and many other external factors, WITHOUT even been aware of it. Sounds crazy right…?
Think about it, let’s take for example something you want to change in your behavior, a bad behavior maybe biting your nails or overeating. According to science we can do this instantly and we don’t even need medicines, pills, psychiatrists and all that common stuff that we are biased to believe we need.

So what we do…? We stay on our problem thinking that it needs a lot of time and all those “common” treatments to resolve it, in order to follow our society commands. Right?

Another example is grieving and don’t get me wrong…I don’t mean something insulting. Think about it, human body is able to recover from a loss of a loved one almost instantly if not in a day and in case of someone passing over, there are not many things we can change for good or bad.
So we put our body and mentality through this whole grieving attitude to justify our environment. Is this good for your body and psychology? Science says no…BUT we do it to follow the environment…imagine getting in a cheerful condition one day after a loved one passed by…how would this look to your surrounding environment?

And to go one step deeper in this example…do you know that there are specific cultures who celebrate when someone passes over…cause they think that he/she is going to a better world…which is something we all believe, right? So grieving is an attitude to satisfy purely our ego…the way i understand it…no offence.
